Some guidelines:
Your deposit is refundable in full only if you cancel your reservation no later than 14 days preceding the date of event. Half of your deposit will be refunded if you cancel within the 10 to 5 day time frame preceding the date of event. All reservations cancelled within 5 days of the event date will be assesed a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the proposed estimated event total or the amount of the paid deposit, whichever of the two is greater. If Chef Patrick cancels the event than the deposit is refunded in full. If you are staying either between Hanalei and Haena, Kalaheo and Kekaha, or in Koke'e, you will be assesed a transportation fee based on the normal hourly service rate of $50/hour equal to the amount of time it takes to travel the extra distance. The deposit you send is a lawful binding contract whereby you agree to all the here-by stated service details and the possible misc. fees noted here-in. For multiple date reservations, each date cancelled is held to the same guidelines as singular date events as stated above. If in a multiple date reservation, the client cancels the following dates after the preceding date(s) has finished, a cancellation fee of 50% of the proposed totals for the dates canceled will be assessed and is due at the time of cancelation. The deposit is non-refundable and cannot be used as payment of the canelation fee in cancellations of multiple date reservations. The total reservation cost is due at the end of service. These guidelines are specific to QiChef and its services and are put in place to ensure the finest quality of food service that both the owners and the clients expect from QiChef. Dear Patrick,
My family and I will have fond memories of our wonderful 10 days in Kauai for many years to come and your culinary talents played a huge part in the enjoyment of our vacation. Since my parent’s 5oth Wedding Anniversary was the reason for our vacation, finding the right chef to cook for our family was really important. Working with you from the start to the finish was so easy. Your menu selections were perfect and I know that cooking for a group of 14 that includes small kids, teenagers and adults is no easy task! It was such a pleasure to plan the menus ahead of time with you and then relax and enjoy my families’ excitement in the food each evening. From the appetizers to the dessert, it was so delicious! I really appreciated how you would arrive completely prepared and just start cooking. My dad especially, loved watching you while you created our delicious meals. It was such a wonderful carefree feeling having you handle it all….and that is the true meaning of vacation!!
Just a couple of days after arriving home in California, my Mom e-mailed me with a three word message. It said “I Miss Patrick!” And I couldn’t have agreed with her more. We all grew very comfortable with both your cooking and your easy presence.
